It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

As an Atheist whose dabbled in religion, from Paganism, to Mormonism, to Judaism, I’ve had different traditions over the years. In recent years, my Jewish roommate and I celebrate Hanukkah by lighting the menorah, eating fried food and watching The Ten Commandments.

I used to do a Yule/Christmas tree, but after my divorce I lost all my decorations and never got around to replacing them. I do love the soft light of a lit Christmas tree.

Every year, I buy myself one present for the holidays. This year, I bought an Eroscillator 2 Plus with Soft Finger Combo (review coming soon!). I probably shouldn’t have bought it, but I couldn’t resist the Black Friday 40% off sale. I never could have purchased it at full price, my rent recently went up so we’ve been strapped for cash. I digress. Well, it’s the best toy I’ve ever used, hands down. THE BEST. It’s been a very Happy Hanukkah indeed.

What are some of your holiday traditions? Are there any gifts you’re hoping to get? Let me know in the comments!
